Best of Eataly Food Tour

The most memorable, fun, and hands-on way to spend an evening, our food tour gives you a chance to enjoy anauthentic culinary experience and drink some of the best Italian wines. Your evening starts with prosecco, traditional Italian aperitivo and conversation with your local tour guide who teach the class.

Once you’ve relaxed, it’s time to taste traditional roman foodies from scratch! You’ll learn every step in order to do them all yourself; from mixing the ingredients to making them ready to be served. You’ll learn what Italian foodies are preferred by locals and not only. No previous experience is necessary for your food tour as your tour guide will introduce you through the hands-on process. It’s a great experience for everyone, amateurs, and even children.

Enjoy local wine and appetizers as you learn about Italian cuisine

Throughout the evening your tour guide will teach you take-home tricks for cooking the perfect pasta; from the different uses for different flours, to the best sauce bases and substitute ingredients you can source at home. You’ll be tasting as you go, but the highlight of your evening will be the dishes you never find back home. Enjoy them out on the way strolling throughout the center of Rome, then wrap it all up with a dessert and a digestif, just as the Romans do.

An unforgettable evening with friends

Small groups are what make our food tours in Rome such enjoyable experiences. With only 12 people or fewer, you’ll get to know everyone and have plenty of time to chat with the tour guide. In the relaxed environment of the central Rome, you’ll feel comfortable and perfectly at home.

Throughout the experience we encourage you to ask as many questions as you like. This is your chance to learn how to cook and eat like an Italian from a true expert – take full advantage of it.

For an evening you’ll never forget; dine and drink wine with our friendly local tour guide.
